Mimmi Blomqvist
Designer Mimmi Blomqvist has a background as an illustrator. In 2022 she graduated with a master’s degree in Ceramics and Glass from the University of Arts, Crafts and Design, and in recent years she has worked independently from her studio in Stockholm.
Inspired by homes
As a designer, Mimmi Blomqvist strives to create items beyond the expected, by combining everyday objects with a love for playful and sculptural forms. Homes, both her own and those of others, are her main source of inspiration. Together with her affinity for soft, sculptural forms, these themes constitute the basis of her distinctive designs.

The Sirkka interior design collection
Mimmi Blomqvist designed the Sirkka interior design collection, named after her Finnish grandmother, for Svenskt Tenn in 2023. The collection includes a bowl, a stool, and a ceiling lamp in soft, sculptural forms.
