Set the table with fanciful designs, floral textiles, pastels and a variety of glass and porcelain. Svenskt Tenn’s founder, Estrid Ericson, was very fond of shells and, for the summer of 2017, designer Sara Söderberg has created a lovely variant in porcelain, modelled after a scallop shell.
Svenskt Tenn’s own single-hue linen napkins are available in a wide range of colours; here, distinctive cerise, bright pink and amber colours have been combined. Together with slender glass and porcelain, they embellish every table setting for the season.
The tea is served in cups from the hand-painted Marie Daage porcelain service, which is decorated with lovely floral designs. The set also includes saucers, plates and bowls in different patterns and colour combinations, designed exclusively for Svenskt Tenn.
The new “Bris” glass, which evokes warm summer winds, is used for the refreshing drinks of the season. The glass is handblown in a wooden mould, while the light pastel hues of pink, green and blue are added in a crucible.
