Vintervindla is a hand-folded fantasy flower in crepe paper, inspired by the Magnolia's winding leaves. Designer Sofia Vusir Jansson has expressed emotions, dizzying hights, and deep lows in the undulating shapes and winding life of the petals, which together create a perfect harmony.

The idea to create hand-folded paper flowers for the Christmas tree, came to Sofia as inspiration from 19th century Christmases. According to legend, these flowers would bloom during the night and make the tree stand in full bloom on Christmas Eve. With the collection, Sofia has taken the tradition into the present, where every detail, from the flower's crepe leaves and the stem in thin, twisted brass to the sepal and pistils in pearl formation are put together by hand. Strips are cut and stamped out of sheets of paper before being folded and shaped. Finally, they are sewn together into lovely little flowers, where each is unique in both expression and finishing.
