“I am fascinated by paper craft and the history behind it. The tactile feel of the paper against the hand. How crêpe paper flowers were used as early as in the 19th century to decorate the Christmas tree. That the legend tells of the flowers blooming during the night, making the Christmas tree stand in full bloom on Christmas Eve. With this collection, I have taken the tradition into the present, where every detail, from the flower's leaves to the stem and pistils, is put together by hand.”
