SVENSKT TENN IS LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Svenskt Tenn is an interior design company with a store and Interior Design Studio located on Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm, as well as an online store. The company was founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson who, ten years later, started collaborating with the Austrian architect and designer Josef Frank.

Today Svenskt Tenn is owned by the Kjell and Märta Beijer foundation. All profits generated by the company go to research in, among other areas, ecological economics, environmental conservation and medicine, as well as to promoting Swedish interior decorating and design. Sustainability, quality and commitment have been the company’s core values since its inception in 1924.

Svenskt Tenn’s marketing department is based at the company’s headquarters in Garnisonen and at the store on Strandvägen. The department works with all forms of communication and marketing across all channels, ranging from production, store design, and digital marketing to PR and events.

Job Description

As a Junior Graphic Designer at Svenskt Tenn, you will be responsible for producing graphic material for all ofSvenskt Tenn’s channels. Planning and creative concept development are carried out in close collaboration with the Marketing & Brand Communications Director and Senior Art Director, with support from the Production/Project Manager.

The role includes layout, typography, graphic design, illustration, editing, and production of final artwork. The work is carried out within the framework of Svenskt Tenn’s overall brand profile, graphic identity, and tone of voice.

Travel may be required.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that Svenskt Tenn’s graphic profile in terms of design and typography is followed across all touchpoints and platforms.

• Develop graphic concepts and materials for campaigns and launches, including title design, exhibition communication, and printed and digital invitations.

• Create content for all channels for campaigns and launches, including but not limited to website, newsletters, social media, print advertising, digital marketing, and presentation materials for B2B and internal communication.

• Create material for ongoing digital marketing (Meta), both still and moving content, with and without graphics.

• Assist with image retouching when needed, as well as video editing/basic film editing for social media.

• Design templates for internal use and ensure they are followed and meet needs: letter templates, presentation templates, PowerPoint templates, Word templates, press releases, email signatures, etc.

• Digital graphic design — responsible for developing newsletter templates, transactional emails, and other digital communication as new needs arise.

• Create layout and graphic design for in-store communication, such as vinyls, signage, product communication, and information sheets.

• Create and update design for product-related materials, such as packaging, branding, information sheets, and brochures.

• Collaborate with external design partners when needed — compile materials for briefing, provide feedback during idea and concept development together with Marketing & Brand Communications Director and Senior Art Director, and ensure implementation according to approved concept.

• Conduct research for design development.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or similar field.

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

• Knowledge of After Effects or other editing software.

• Knowledge of print production (material selection, printing techniques, final artwork production).

• Experience creating design based on a given brief.

• Structured working style and strong ownership of projects.

• Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering at a high level under pressure and tight deadlines.
