Two distinctive design languages come together in this year’s summer exhibition at Svenskt Tenn. The exhibition “Beneath the Same Sky” pays tribute to Greek artist Alekos Fassianos alongside Josef Frank – two creators whose artistic visions were united by strong ideas about humanity, the home as a place of function and rest, and the power of creativity.
Alekos Fassianos (1935 – 2022) was one of Greece’s most revered modern artists, known for his lyrical depictions of mythological themes and archetypal figures. He lived and worked between Athens and Paris, cultivating a singular artistic universe that transcended geography and time.

During the summer of 2025, a selection of unique furniture pieces, lighting fixtures, and vases by Alekos Fassianos will be on display at the Svenskt Tenn store on Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm. These works are also available for purchase online in limited editions and can be made to order for a limited time through Svenskt Tenn.
