Colourful cushion created by the Swedish artist Liselotte Watkins. The Misto cushion is part of her “Via Sallustiana” interior collection, named after the street in Rome where she lives together with her family. The collection reflects how a Swedish childhood finds new resonance in life as a woman in Italy. The childhood's enterprising female figures and the Swedish applied arts that both earned and praised them, are depicted here through a life as a woman, mother and artist. A colourful ovation to the matriarchy, power, responsibility and the body. To the woman as a human – without being apologetic.
