The Holiday Exhibition
HOLIDAY EXHIBITION AT STRANDVÄGEN 5, STOCKHOLM
2025.10.31 – 2026.01.06
In this year’s holiday exhibition at Svenskt Tenn, contemporary design meets traditional craftsmanship and understated elegance. Graphic forms and clean lines are combined with expressions characteristic of the holidays at Svenskt Tenn. From the company’s historical archive, unique objects such as Estrid Ericson’s Cat Bookend, Nils Fougstedt’s Kerub Candlestick, and the Angel Annual Ornament are brought forth once again. Together, they tell the story of a festive season filled with timeless pewter pieces, shimmering decorations, and hand-painted glass ornaments – a celebration of harmony, beauty, and the quiet joy of adorning the home for the holidays.

Timeless Pewter Pieces
Elegant candlesticks, decorative boxes and sculptural pewter objects are an essential part of the holidays at Svenskt Tenn. They add a special glow to the season and make cherished gifts.
View CollectionThe Magic of Josef Frank’s Poisons
At the heart of this year’s holiday at Svenskt Tenn is Josef Frank’s magnificent pattern Poisons, where vines of wine, hops, and tobacco entwine in decorative foliage. With its bold palette and festive spirit, the pattern – created by Frank between 1943 and 1945 – brings a warm, inviting atmosphere, offering a playful contrast to the traditional expressions of the season.
Shimmering Decorations
From understated elegance to maximalist detail – this year’s holiday decorations draw inspiration from Josef Frank’s pattern Poisons, both in colour palette and expression. Designer Susanna Barrett has created shimmering ornaments in hammered brass and hand-painted glass baubles. Sam Wilde returns to Svenskt Tenn with his third holiday collection, featuring ornaments that symbolise nature’s dual character – both deceptive and alluring. Among this year’s decorations is also the Wish Ornament, designed by Carina Seth Andersson and Jacob Solgren Nordenskiöld, created to hang in Svenskt Tenn’s classic Wish Tree in hand-twisted brass.
Inviting Table Settings
The holiday table becomes a symbol of joy and togetherness as friends and family gather around. The simple yet elegant Minerva porcelain tableware, designed by Carina Seth Andersson, is paired with hand-blown glass and Josef Frank’s tall pewter candlesticks – created to place guests in the most flattering light.
