Estrid Ericson founded Svenskt Tenn in 1924. By the early 1930s, the small pewter company had gained recognition as the most fashionable interior design store in Stockholm.

In 1927, Svenskt Tenn's store was relocated from Smålandsgatan to Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm. Today there is not only the store but also the Interior Design Studio.

Svenskt Tenn is expanding, and during January – April 2023, the store will be affected by ongoing renovations. This means that the access to specific departments, lifts and entrances can sometimes be limited.

Upstairs lies Svenskt Tenn’s textile department with Josef Frank’s and Estrid Ericson’s colourful, printed fabrics, cushions and throws for every interior.

Uncover the Pewter Room

Discover accessories from the 1920s, candles holders from the 50s and vases created by contemporary designers in the Pewter room on Strandvägen 5.

Inviting Table Settings

At the store on Strandvägen 5, the tables are set in the spirit of our founder Estrid Ericson, with glass, porcelain, napkins and flower arrangements.

Experience Svenskt Tenn on your terms

You can now book a private viewing of the ongoing exhibition or a private visit to the store at Strandvägen 5 between 8:00–10:00 and 18:00–20:00. This means that you can shop undisturbed, by appointment, and get personal help from one of our knowledgeable sales people. We can also offer a digital tour of the store as well as meetings with our interior designers in person or online.
