Lunch with french elegance Svenskt Tenn

Lunch with French Elegance

A blue bird evolves on a background of branches and geometric patterns. This elegant luncheon table carries French influences, with a classic porcelain collection from Gien in focus. The blue and white tones are also found in Josef Frank's timeless La Plata print, and the colours are reflected in the small acorn vase, designed by Svenskt Tenn's founder Estrid Ericson. Despite its name, the acorn vase is not only suitable for growing acorns, but also for single flowers and cuttings.

Dinner Contrasts

The well-known opera singer Lina Cavalieri's face adorns Fornasetti's characteristic plate collection, made by hand in Italy. In the company’s atelier, the techniques used to make the very first products in the 1950s are still in use. Paint is applied by hand and the original paper patterns are preserved.

The design makes an exciting contrast to the glasses in the Crystal Flora series, designed by Ingegerd Råman for Svenskt Tenn in 2014. The glasses have an open and soft design that is stringent and elegant at the same time, making them suitable for everyday use as well as parties. The designer describes the collection as delicate yet functional.
