I marvel at the myth of Atlantis, the magic and romance of it. These romantic, otherworldly themes found their way into my designs: the brass galleon, for example – I love the idea of this ancient ship floating off into a forgotten, dreamlike world.

For the holiday season 2022, Svenskt Tenn is collaborating for the second time with the renowned artist and designer Luke Edward Hall.

In recent years, the 33-year-old designer has taken the design and fashion world by storm with his anti-minimalist, signature aesthetic. His popping patterns and strong colours have been seen in collaborations with Burberry, Lanvin, Ginori 1735, Rubelli and Gant, among others. In 2019, he created a collection of interior accessories for Svenskt Tenn, and now we present our second collaboration.

The 2022 holiday collection includes a series of Christmas tree pendants in brass and glass, inspired by the myth of the lost island of Atlantis.

The Christmas baubles and glass pendants in the collection are all hand-painted, which gives them all a personal and unique expression.

Decorate the tree by combining classic ornaments with imaginative designs, fish, shells and brass pendants.

The collection also includes table accessories as well as fabric, cushions, tablecloths, trays and placemats with the pattern ‘Coral Diamond Trellis’ – inspired by the treasures of the sea.

I'm an enormous fan of Josef Frank, and I love his ocean inspired Aristidia print. I was influenced by similar themes when creating my new fabric for Svenskt Tenn. The idea for the pattern came from a wallpaper fragment I found in a museum. I drew branches of corals and experimented with adding diamond shapes and drawings of starfish to create the playful design.

Brass napkin rings and coasters are beautiful on the Christmas table and lovely as gifts.
