The History of Pewter

The history of pewter craftsmanship dates back to the early Middle Ages. Over the centuries, the material has been used for both household vessels and decorative objects. When Estrid Ericson founded Svenskt Tenn in 1924, she helped establish pewter as an important artistic material.
