Josef Frank harboured no penchant for hunting and designed several rugs intended to replace real animal skins. Josef Frank’s Rug No. 7, also known as the “Beast Rug,” unfurls across the floor like the pelt of a wondrous fairytale creature, and becomes a playful detail in your interior.

Manufacturing Rug no 7

Hitex was founded in 1982 in Blekinge. Here, rugs are manufactured using tufting – an ancient, traditional technique that has entered the future with the implementation of self-developed, precise, and flexible robots. The production at Hitex is conducted on a small-scale, with a focus on exclusive, high-quality custom orders.
